Now that the southern border crisis/emergency is out of sight and out of mind so to speak many have concluded (falsely) that the situation has gotten better. Wrong! It has gotten much worse. A new war of sorts has emerged between Texas and the Biden Administration. Yet millions of Americans are clueless as to what is really happening…because the mainstream media will not report the truth!
A new Center for Immigration Studies video report highlights Texas Governor Abbott’s “Operation Hold the Line”, which has state police and National Guard block immigrants at the Rio Grande River’s edge, and President Biden’s undermining of the state’s efforts to enforce the laws.
Todd Bensman, the Center for Immigration Studies’ senior national security fellow, captures the border war, showing many of the initiatives undertaken by the state in and around Eagle Pass, Texas, a hot spot for illegal immigrant crossings. Bensman speaks with several illegal immigrants who successfully entered the country and with others who were discouraged and returned to Mexico.
They told Bensman of their plans to go around the Texas border blockade and to search for U.S. Border Patrol officers, who the migrants feel are certain to admit them into the U.S. Bensman explains, “None of these immigrants are really giving up, because they all know full well there’s an antidote, a solution, to this Texas halt-and-block operation – it is President Joe Biden’s Border Patrol. The immigrants know that if they can bust the Texas blockade and link up with Biden’s Border Patrol agents, they will be escorted in right past Texas’s fortifications.”

If you thought the Biden border insanity has ended, read Todd Bensman’s report from Eagle Pass, Texas, last week in The Post.
Or jarring new reports about how many migrants Team Biden let in, in some way or another — and how few are turned back or deported.
Turns out, as Bensman reported, Texas is virtually at war with Team Biden over illegal immigrants.
Gov. Greg Abbott has expanded his Hold the Line program, using state police and the National Guard to enforce the law and keep migrants from sneaking across.
Yet federal Border Patrol agents, state officials believe, are all-but-recruiting migrants to enter, flashing their agency’s green and white colors to signal them — under orders from Washington meant to thwart Texas’ efforts at enforcement.
Could anything be more insane?
Despite Abbott’s $5.1 billion program, President Joe Biden’s “green uniformed men” deliver migrants across “on a silver platter.” A Border Patrol agent even cut a wire to let some in.
Those who gain entry may get a Notice to Appear an ICE office, and then are freed and mostly never heard from again.
At the same time, Biden’s CPB One app, which lets migrants make border appointments to claim asylum, officials are opening the door to more than a half-million of them a year — in open defiance of Congress.
As The Post reported, 104,000 are waiting for appointments in northern Mexico, with more on the way.
And get this: A new report shows that US Immigration and Customs Enforcement failed to issue court summons to 80% of migrants who crossed illegally under Biden’s “parole” program just before the end of the Title 42 policy.
These people will almost certainly never get a court date to press their supposed asylum claims, let alone show up in court. (Especially since few have legitimate claims.)
If by some miracle federal agents were to try to track down and deport these migrants, they’d meet resistance from “sanctuary” cities and states.
The insanity extends far beyond the border, with thousands of migrants continuing to overwhelm cities, especially New York.
That’s got Mayor Eric Adams in a never-ending search for new places to park them — school gyms, the Aqueduct Racetrack, the Creedmoor Psychiatric Center.
These ideas often get shot down — only to somehow resurface, as he once finds himself desperate again for sites. He even got flyers to be passed out at the border begging migrants to “consider” heading to some other city besides New York.
Make no mistake: We’re not opposed to legal immigration, but this uncontrolled madness is wreaking havoc.
Even pro-Biden Adams (eventually) blasted the prez for creating the mess.
But now several other Democrats at the City Council, including Speaker Adrienne Adams, are joining him, teaming up with Republicans to demand Biden to fix the border.
“What we need now are real solutions . . . with President Joe Biden addressing the crisis on our borders” and sending “financial relief,” read their letter to him, Gov. Kathy Hochul and Adams.
Biden won’t budge, of course; he’d rather fight the city, Texas and everyone else who bears the insane burden of his open-border policy.
No, the madness won’t truly be over until there’s a major change in the top position at the White House.
Tens of thousands of illegal aliens across Massachusetts are rushing to secure driver’s licenses after voters approved a law to extend driving privileges to those in the United States illegally.
Data from the state’s Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV), published by Chris Van Buskirk of the Boston Herald, shows that about 100,000 requests for appointments to get a learner’s permit have been placed since July 1, when the law took effect.
The majority, tens of thousands, of those requests are likely illegal aliens who were given the right to a driver’s license in Massachusetts after voters approved the law in a statewide ballot initiative late last year.
With the passage of the law, Massachusetts became the 17th state to provide driver’s licenses to illegal aliens — joining California, New York, Colorado, and Connecticut, among others.
In the first four years of the law, state officials have said they expect close to 300,000 illegal aliens in Massachusetts to apply for driver’s licenses. Overall, the law will cost taxpayers at least $28 million to implement.
Last year, 19-year-old illegal alien Everton Candido became the face of the driver’s license initiative after he was arrested for allegedly killing 77-year-old Walter Wishoski Jr., a veteran of the Army National Guard who was born and raised in Malden, Massachusetts, in a fatal crash when Candido was driving without a license.
The open borders lobby, with the help of elected Democrats, has made securing driver’s licenses for illegal aliens a key fixture of their agenda to eliminate privileges meant solely for American citizens and legal immigrants.
Driver’s licenses for illegal aliens are vital for the open borders lobby because often when illegal aliens are pulled over by local police, driving without a driver’s license is the first criminal charge that can put them in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody for arrest and deportation.
Today, about 316,000 illegal aliens reside in Massachusetts.
